Description
tesa 60418 is a carton-sealing tape designed for light- to medium‑weight cartons (up to 25 kg).
tesa 60418 consists of a hot‑melt adhesive made from synthetic rubber offering high initial tack, and a very thin polyester backing that is 85 % post‑consumer material. Thanks to the excellent properties of the carrier, tesa 60418 is both thin and conformable, yet tear‑resistant. It features low unwind force and very good immediate adhesion performance, making it ideal for automated processes.
tesa 60418 is an excellent choice for high‑volume packaging applications, where efficiency is a key criterion.
The adhesive tape is best applied at room temperature. After application, tesa 60418 performs well within the normal temperature range under typical shipping and storage conditions.
