The ATEN CN800 USB VGA KVM‑over‑IP Mini delivers high‑quality HD video up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz and adds over‑IP access control to conventional KVM switches, enabling remote management of systems without built‑in KVM‑over‑IP functionality.

Supports advanced user management with up to 64 user accounts and 32 concurrent logins, including session termination by administrators. Provides event logging with Windows‑based Log Server support, instant alerts via email, SNMP trap, and Syslog, and allows remote firmware upgrades for simplified maintenance.

The ATEN CN800 uses the standard TCP/IP protocols for communication. It allows the connected server or computer to be accessed from any computer over the internet – whether that computer is located down the hall, in other areas of the country, or branch offices in other parts of the world.

Supports multi‑user access, allowing several users to connect to the same server simultaneously. Integrates with ATEN CC2000 Centralised Management and CCVSR Video Session Recording software, supports DDNS and IPv6, and allows browser access to be enabled or disabled for controlled remote management.

Provides a unified, multi‑language interface through browser‑based and application GUIs to reduce training time and boost productivity. Supports multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, Linux, and Sun, with compatibility across major browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera.

External authentication supports: RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS, and MS Active Directory. TLS 1.2 encryption to protect password when users log in. Flexible design allows users to choose any combination of encryption algorithms (e.g. 256-bit AES) or system-generated random selection for independent keyboard/mouse, video, and virtual media data encryption. Supports for IP/MAC Filter. Supports password protection.

Virtual media enables file applications, OS patching, software installation and diagnostic testing. Works with USB-enabled servers in operating system and BIOS level.
