Oil Paper pads have a canvas textured surface, specifically designed for use with oil colour. Specially formulated, this paper has the right absorbency for oil applications. Popular for sketching outdoors and in the studio, and for artists who prefer using paper to canvas.Designed to withstand heavy applications of oil colour and impasto without soaking, with no need for any priming or preparation, they are made from 100% acid free non-absorbent paper. The paper is archival acid-free quality for stability and resistance to ageing 230gsm/108lb and has been embossed to produce a ‘canvas-like’ texture.
