How do I collect Nectar points at Viking?

To start collecting Nectar points you just need to add your Nectar account details to your Viking account

You can collect 2 Nectar points per £1 spend on our everyday purchases at Viking.  See our T&Cs › for exclusions.

No. Just link your Nectar account to your Viking account by following these steps ›

How do I check if my Nectar account is linked to my Viking account?

You can do this by checking your Viking account, in ‘My account’ › and looking in the left-hand navigation menu under ‘Nectar card’.

Do I need to enter my Nectar account number each time I order?

No. You only need to add your Nectar account number to your Viking account once.  When you’ve done it, you’ll start collecting 2 points per £1 spend on your orders.

When do I get my Nectar points for linking my Viking and Nectar cards?

After you have linked your Nectar account to your Viking account, and made your first qualifying order of £29 or more (exclusions and T&Cs apply), Nectar will add the bonus linking points to your account approximately 60 days later.

How soon after ordering do I get my Nectar points?

Nectar will add 2 points per £1 spend to your account within a few working days of ordering. Additional Nectar bonus points (e.g. 100 bonus points) are normally added within 28 days of the promotion end date, unless specified differently in the T&Cs

What do you mean by 2x or 3x Nectar points and when will I get my points?

Sometimes we run promotions offering 2x or 3x the usual 2 points per £1 spend. This means you could earn 4 or 6 points in total per £1 spend. The additional bonus points will be added to your account with 28 days of the campaign end date. For more details please see our T&Cs

Are there any products or services I can’t collect Nectar points on?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer Nectar points on Postage stamps and some Business Services.

Points cannot be collected on delivery charges, administrative charges or the VAT charges added to your order. Full details are in our T&Cs

How do I check my Nectar balance and manage my Nectar account?

Log in to your Nectar account › to view your transaction history and check your points balance. Here you’ll see points collected from Viking.

You can also manage your account and do things like update your personal details, request replacements cards or remove a card holder from the account.

I haven’t received Nectar points on my Viking order

The processing time for adding points to your account varies according to how you earned the points. Allow a few working days for your 2 points per £1 spend to be added to your account. Any promotional bonus points will be added within 28 days of the promotion end date, unless specified differently in the T&Cs. For more details see our T&Cs

If you’ve checked your Nectar balance after the processing period and you don’t see your points, please contact us.

Why have I had some Nectar points removed from my Nectar account?

In most cases it’s because you returned the item purchased, so the points earned on the value of the goods has been removed.

Very rarely, points which you were not entitled to, might be added to your account in error. These would be removed by Nectar to rectify the error.
