A Quick Disconnect cable required for telecom headsets to enable direct connection to most standard telephone system handsets. The ‘Quick Disconnect’ (QD) connection allows you to leave your headset on at all times and quickly disconnect from the bottom cable, when you need to walk away from your desk. For example: this will automatically put the call ‘on hold’ while the user speaks to their supervisor/colleague. The QD can be disconnected thousands of times without any wear to the connections.
