Working Zones of Comfort

It is the employers legal obligation (EU Directive 90/270/EEC) to provide workstation assessments for all new employees and for existing employees when there is a change in their working environment (such as new desks or PC's, lighting, position or job tasks).  These regulations aim to reduce the number of work related illnesses including backache, mental stress, eye strain and Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), by reinforcing the employer's responsibility to apply good ergonomic principles in the work place.
