One of the key updates in the Yamaha NP12 from its precedent model NP11 is the USB connectivity. This opens a range of options from being able to use the keyboard as a Midi instrument to connecting it to your iOS device to use it with a wide range of Yamaha apps available to download for free. The instrument also has a headphone input for silent practice or amplification, sustain pedal connection and it can be battery powered, which means you can play virtually anywhere!
