With its elegant aluminium front, the desktop calculator adds a touch of elegance to your workplace. Its dimensions of approx. 13 x 18 cm make it the perfect companion on any desk. The desktop calculator uses solar energy and has a backup battery that automatically kicks in when the light is low. The extra-large 12-digit display (approx. 10.8 x 2.6 cm) offers clear figures and a digit height of 1.9 cm. The function commands and thousands subdivision are also visible.

Thanks to CASIO's unique input logic, the desktop calculator displays the absolute value of the percentage before adding it to the base. Example: Enter "200 x 20%" (40 appears on the display), then "+" (240 appears on the display). Whether including or excluding tax - the calculator displays the tax amount as well as net and gross amounts. The tax rate can be memorised. Using the special keys, you can easily calculate the purchase price, sales price, and profit as well as the % profit margin.

The margin mark-up calculation using the % key enables the calculation of the sales price for a defined expected margin in %. Example: If "200 + 20%" (margin requirement) is entered, "250" (sales price for 20% margin) appears on the display. The rounding option allows rounding or rounding down to selectable 0/1/2/3/4 decimal places. The constant calculation mode allows the same operation to be repeated. The Grand Total (GT) memory displays the grand total e.g. for price x unit lists. The totalised 3-key memory makes work easier.

The backspace key allows you to delete the input and the result digit by digit. There are separate delete buttons for the last value (Clear) and all values (All Clear). The +/- key is used to change the sign. The double zero key 00 is practical. The Add-2 input mode allows the decimal point to be omitted.

And the input buffer memory (key rollover) enables very fast typing. The smooth-running, ergonomically concave and convex shaped, extra shock-absorbing, spring-loaded plastic keys ensure a pleasant typing experience. The numeric keypad with the "0" key under the "1" key rounds off the functionality.
