Beautiful design (if you like that sort of thing), great performance on Kit-Kat (everything seems to run smoothly), and most importantly, it's not an iPad.
Takes a while to get used to the best (most comfortable) way to hold it, especially if you have smallish hands, but that's only a minor grumble. I also find that Samsung's TouchWiz has some slight advantages over stock Android which I miss on the Nexus compared to my phone, but there are almost certainly apps to address that if you really want them.
