Toner supplied in the printer only does 500-700 pages Duplex printing curls paper (minor point) Instructions for installation with Apple Mac computer provided in the packaging are poor. In fact the installation is simple, but somehow locating the easy instructions is hard and random. I wasted time on this before chancing on helpful instructions on Brother's website.
Fast. Duplex feature works brilliantly. Quality excellent.

Slightly plasticky feel - maybe not that robust if subjected to really heavy use but I think fine for home/small office. A bit noisy, but not enough to be offputting. These quibbles are definitely outweighed by the good points.
